Five decades of experience.
‘The Burton Family – Maitland Toyota / Port Stephens Toyota’ are recognized by Toyota as a leader in the industry and has been named NSW number 1 Toyota dealership from 2004-2008. The highly professional staff is totally committed to outstanding customer service, which they are continuously striving to improve.
Norman and Maureen began the operation of ‘The Burton Family- Maitland Toyota’ in December 1963. At that time the business was a Golden Fleece Petrol Station, with a small car yard and service workshop, located at 104 Rd East Maitland.
In 1970 Norm and Maureen purchased a second property located at 250 High St Maitland and had this property refurbished as a new car showroom with a service workshop facility.
The dealership operated out of 2 sites until 2002, when Norm and Maureen built a multi-million dollar facility, combining all divisions of the company on one site. Maitland Toyota is now located at 104 -124 Rd East Maitland and operates with 60 local staff.
In 2008 Norm and Maureen were proud to open a second Toyota dealership “The Burton Family - Port Stephens Toyota” located at 70 Port Stephens Drive, Taylor’s Beach. This new state of the art facility has a new car show room as well as a service workshop centre and it reflects the Burton family’s commitment to customers and their changing needs.
